Description
A portable dog water bottle for walks, cars and days out
Carrying a bottle and a folding bowl means juggling two things and spilling most of it. A portable dog water bottle puts the trough on top of the bottle, so you press once, your dog drinks, and whatever is left pours back in.
Why the leak-proof lock matters
The common complaint with dog water bottles is a wet bag. This one locks shut, so it can go in a rucksack or a car door pocket without leaking. It is a no drip dog water bottle in normal use — the trough seals against the body when the lock is on.
What you get
- Stainless steel body that keeps water cooler than plastic
- Leak-proof lock for bags and boots
- One-handed operation — useful when the other hand has a lead in it
- Pour-back trough so nothing is wasted
How much water does a dog need on a walk
Roughly 50ml per kilo of body weight per day, more in heat. For a 20kg dog on an hour’s walk in summer, offer a drink every 20 minutes rather than one big one at the end.
Also good for
Crate travel, car journeys and days at the beach. If your dog only drinks from a bottle in the car, a crate water bottle for large dogs setup works better — ask us and we will point you at the right thing.
⚠ Wash before first use.
Rinse in warm soapy water and dry before your dog’s first meal. If your dog has only ever eaten from a flat bowl, put a smaller portion in for the first few days — the point is to slow them down, not to frustrate them.
